This will give them a dedicated place to play away from the community and prevent damage.

After looking at the back area a unit like this will not fit and will take up too much space. I believe a better idea is to simply place the hoop at the far end just by the last parking spot.

I like the idea of the hoop at the end of the community but I think a net over a basketball hoop is unnecessary and makes it hard to shoot baskets. I still think kids should have the freedom to play. The grass area has become an area where dogs pee and poop (even though theres a designated dog park) and so the kids have no area. The challenge is to find an area or sport that does not bother others. I think spending money on things like a net is not necessary because I don't think the problem is misplaced balls during basketball games but hitting baseballs and kicking balls too close to homes.
