If you put the basketball hoop at the end of the community, kids will be aiming away from all the houses and it would avoid damage to any house or light. I think a basketball hoop is the safest way for the ids to play without bothering anyone. Kickball and baseball are the sports where balls go flying and end up causing damage. I think basketball is a game that allows the kids to play without bothering neighbors. At the end of a cul de sac or in the parking area at the end would be safest.
