The city plans to reduce the number of peafowl from 125 to approximately 50. This initiative involves safely trapping and relocating the birds to sanctuaries, aiming to mitigate problems such as noise, droppings, and property damage caused by the peacocks. However, some residents, including David Cairns, are concerned that this approach might excessively diminish the peacock population.
